What are theme blocks?
Theme blocks are times where students bring all academic subjects together. For example, students might draw from science, social science, P&M, and Communications Literacy to to understand ocean biomes.

Goal
It is imperative that students begin to see the world as interconnected and understand that real world problems require many disciplines and skills. Students become problem-solvers and active producers who engage with authentic audiences, seek real feedback, and participate in thoughtful reflection.
Methodology
We embrace project-based learning (PBL), phenomenon-based learning (PhBL), and a general constructivist approach. What does this mean? Students are answering real-world questions and exploring a subject from multiple angles, driven by their interests.
