2021 marked the 7th Annual Cardboard Carnival at the Sycamore School. Students sharpen their design thinking skills through the imagination and creation of their own cardboard arcade games. As the community plays these games, students get a chance for authentic feedback, gauging the players' enjoyment and monitoring the game's level of challenge. Sycamore's famous Cardboard Carnival was initially inspired by the story of Caine's Arcade and continues to be a yearly event that brings out the best in our students and families.
